Havdallah Bonfire at the Urban Adamah Farm
September 17, 2011/18 Elul, 5771
Come gather with friends to celebrate the start of a new week and the abundance of food and community we are blessed with!
Schedule of Events:
7PM: Check out the bountiful Urban Adamah community farm, have a snack and drink some home-brewed beer and local apple cider.
8PM: Community Havdallah ceremony, fire by friction demonstration, bonfire, singing, hot chai tea and dessert potluck.
10PM: DJ dance party on the farm… we’re taking requests!
What to Bring:
- A camping chair
- Your cup for chai, beer, and cider
- Warm clothes
- Musical instruments
- A headlamp
- An item for the dessert potluck if you wish
Registration:
Suggested donation of $10 covers snacks and drinks. Please register in advance, as space is limited. Kids under 13 are free.
This is an ingredient-kosher, vegetarian dessert potluck. No bacon chocolate or lard muffins, please.
